Topic: Hunger vs. Craving - In person Cooking Workshop
Making Healthy Choices

Menu: Salmon Sliders with Chopped Salad Chocolate Chia Pudding

Participants will learn how making healthy food choices and being physically active will help them grow. They will learn to identify what foods to eat more of and explain why. They will be able to name at least 2 reasons why it’s essential to eat foods from all five food groups. They will learn to differentiate between hunger and craving, identify the cues of each, and manage them. They will nprocess that food has nutrients that help us grow physically and mentally, and how it impacts mood and behavior.

Join us for an interactive cooking workshop where participants will explore the difference between physical hunger and emotional cravings. Through hands-on learning, you’ll discover how to recognize the body’s natural hunger cues, identify common triggers for cravings, and develop strategies to manage them effectively. The workshop will also highlight the important connection between mood, hunger, and cravings, helping participants build healthier relationships with food while preparing simple, nourishing recipes together.
